Job Description:
A company is looking for a Truss Designer to convert sales
orders into mechanical drawings for complex multi-family roof and
floor truss designs.
Key Responsibilities
Design wood trusses for commercial structures, focusing on
multi-family buildings
Provide designs and estimates, including layouts and material
lists, according to specifications
Utilize MiTek and other design software to optimize project designs
and maintain detailed records
Required Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience in multi-family truss design
Experience with MiTek software is preferred
Two-year technical degree or applicable experience in the field
Advanced knowledge of CAD, architectural drafting, and engineering
fundamentals
General knowledge of the construction industry and strong
visualization skills
