Job Description:
A company is looking for a Property and Casualty Underwriter
responsible for managing a portfolio of accounts and driving new
and renewal business opportunities for Property and Casualty
insurance.
Key Responsibilities
Underwrites new and renewal property and casualty business and
evaluates applications to determine risk acceptance
Maintains existing broker relationships and collaborates on
production activities to provide timely service to clients
Stays informed about industry trends and adjusts underwriting
strategies accordingly
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Risk Management, Actuarial
Science, Business Administration, or a related discipline
5+ years of experience in Property and Casualty Underwriting
State P&C and/or surplus line licenses are required
Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation is a
plus
