Key Responsibilities:

Assist licensed plumbers in the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
Learn and practice the installation of pipes, fixtures, and appliances like sinks, toilets, and water heaters.
Help with the troubleshooting and repair of plumbing systems, including identifying issues like leaks, clogs, and faulty connections.
Participate in digging trenches and running piping systems for new installations or repairs.
Cut, thread, and assemble pipes and fittings.
Install water heaters, sump pumps, and other plumbing appliances under the supervision of senior plumbers.
Learn and follow plumbing codes and safety regulations to ensure work is performed to industry standards.
Assist with inspecting plumbing systems, conducting tests, and making recommendations for repairs or upgrades.
Maintain and organize tools, equipment, and job sites.
Keep a clean and safe work environment at all times.
Attend and actively participate in apprenticeship training programs, including continuing education and certifications.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent experience.
Must be able to lift, carry, and move heavy equipment or materials.
Strong interest in pursuing a career in plumbing with the desire to learn and grow in the trade.
Good mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
Ability to work in physically demanding conditions, including bending, kneeling, and standing for long periods.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Ability to pass background check and drug screening.
Previous plumbing or construction experience preferred.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends as needed.
