An international machinery manufacturing company is currently searching for an Electrical Installation Supervisor to join their facility in the Columbus, OH area. In this role, the ideal candidate will manage and coordinate wiring, installation and repairs. This job requires about 25 percent travel to customer's locations.

This is a full-time, 1st Shift position and due to the nature of the position, weekends/holidays as well as the possibility of international travel are all part of this job opportunity.

Electrical Installation Supervisor Responsibilities Include:

The Electrical Wiring Supervisor is the expert for all wiring needs, both internal and with customers
Must be able to lead as this role requires managing contractors as well as direct reports (technicians)
Inventory management responsibilities and work closely with the procurement team
Communication with all departments including Assembly, Sales and Engineers
25 percent travel to customer's locations
Work alongside Wiring Technicians building wiring panels
Other duties as assigned



Electrical Installation Supervisor Requirements Include:

Minimum high school diploma or GED required
Minimum 5 years of electrical background experience
Wiring Techniques for automation systems
Overtime/holidays/weekends/travel are part of this job opportunity
Strong communication and collaboration ability in a multicultural environment



While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, lift in excess of 25 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.
