Job Description:

An automotive parts manufacturer by the Lima, OH area is currently searching for a full-time Maintenance Technician to join their facility. This is a full-time, direct hire position with an excellent benefits package. Current shift openings are on 2nd and 3rd shift.

Responsibilities:

Conduct preventative, general, and emergency maintenance on production equipment
Follow a predictive/preventative maintenance schedule and assist with planning scheduled downtime activities
Ensure plantwide compliance to OSHA, EPA, and other safety / environmental requirements and standards
Creation of maintenance activity reports for upper management
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required
Minimum 2 years' hands-on experience (including professional training, apprenticeships, etc.) in the set-up, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial machinery
Experience with Stamping, Tool & Die and/or Welding equipment is a big plus
Available to work some overtime, holidays, shutdowns, and/or weekends when necessary
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings
Good communication and collaboration skills in a multicultural environment
Strong problem-solving skills and time management ability

This position includes manufacturing and warehousing work environment. While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, lift in excess of 50 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.
