Management applies general business knowledge to plan, organize,
and control resources, procedures, and timing for an administrative
or business process. This job family organizes project teams,
establishes project schedules and individual responsibilities, and
determines resource requirements. Program & Project Management
manages project budgets and reports on the status of project cost,
timing and staffing. This job family also ensures adherence to
internal external quality standards and integrates vendor tasks and
deliverables into project plans.Job SummaryThe Program Manager is
responsible for managing the execution of projects consisting of
single or multiple initiatives. They work within the constraints of
budget, schedule and scope while managing risk and ensuring
adherence to established processes and
methodologies.Responsibilities.
- Leverage cross functional team to build and maintain
multi-generational Project Plans that support a complex program,
support stakeholder management, and provide appropriate escalations
to drive timely and successful execution
- Effectively document and execute on project plans for
individual projects
- Proactively identify issues and risks, support issue
resolution, and develop risk mitigation plans in close partnership
with project teams and relevant business partners
- Responsible for creating and delivering project status to
executive leadership team; ability to candidly request support
- Quickly earn the trust of sponsors and key stakeholders;
mobilize and motivate teams
- Confidently facilitates decision making and removes barriers to
progress
- Ensure effective, nimble controls are in place and manage
risks, issues, changes, decisions, cost, resources, and schedule;
connect short-term demands to long-term implications, in alignment
with the supporting business case
- Effectively manage multiple projects, prioritizing multiple
tasks while meeting deadlines; communicate project status (health,
forecast, issues, risks, etc.) to leadership and stakeholders in an
open and honest fashionQualifications
- Bachelors degree in related field, or equivalent work
experience, preferred
- 8+ years of experience, preferred
- Preferred Certifications: PMP
- Prior experience leading large scale, cross functional projects
with multiple workstreams
- Deep understanding of Supply Chain management
- Strong leadership skills with ability to prioritize and deliver
on multiple concurrent initiatives that have significant financial
and strategic impact
- Ability to influence without authority and excellent
communication skills; ability to tailor communication with all
levels of the organization, including executive leadership
- Comfortable navigating through ambiguity; challenging others to
think differently and holding others, at all levels, accountable to
delivering on commitments
- Strong communication skills to navigate efficiently and
effectively in a matrix organization
- Comfort with conflict and strong conflict resolution skills.
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships
- Strong analytical, problem solving, critical thinking,
organizational, and financial acumen
- Ability to travel 15%What is expected of you and others at this
level
- Applies advanced knowledge and understanding of concepts,
principles, and technical capabilities to manage a wide variety of
projects
- Participates in the development of policies and procedures to
achieve specific goals
- Recommends new practices, processes, metrics, or models
- Works on or may lead complex projects of large scope
- Projects may have significant and long-term impact
- Provides solutions which may set precedent
- Independently determines method for completion of new
projects
- Receives guidance on overall project objectives
