- The Senior UI/UX Designer will play a pivotal role in the
evolution of our healthcare applications for Android devices,
ensuring they are intuitive, engaging, and efficient. This role
entails working closely with engineers, product managers, and key
stakeholders to transform complex requirements into compelling and
accessible design solutions. You will guide the design process from
conception through execution, focusing on delivering user-centered
designs that significantly enhance the healthcare provider
experience. A familiarity with Google's Material3 will be
beneficial for prototyping and communicating design concepts and

Strategic Capabilities Unit comprises the technical talent and

execution.What You'll Do:
- Maintain ownership of projects right away.
- Invent solutions to problems and transform them into
reality.
- Participate and lead a solutions-driven development
process.
- Communicate ideas with development teams and customers.
- Interface with engineers, researchers, and military personnel
to understand requirements.
- Identify, integrate, and evaluate optimal UI/UX solutions to
meet development objectives.
- Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships within
the department, the Strategic Business Units, Strategic
Capabilities Units and the Company. Interact appropriately with
others in order to maintain a positive and productive work
environment.
- Perform other duties as necessary.Your Road Map:
- 1 to 3 Months - Learning the Problem space, utilize existing
paradigms to build UIs.
- 3 to 6 Months - Develop improved and novel UX to solve pain
points.
- 6 to 12 Months - Work with product team to influence design
direction.Off-Site Work Environment: This position may be performed
working primarily remotely. Travel/commute to various company
and/or customer locations at time when not "home based" may be
required.Working Conditions:
- Work is performed in an office environment, laboratory,
cleanroom, or production floor.Required Education, Experience, &
Skills
- BA/BS degree plus 4 or more years of related experience.
- Each higher-level related degree, i.e., Master's Degree or
Ph.D., may substitute for two years of related experience. Related
technical experience may be considered in lieu of education. Degree
must be from a university, college, or school which is accredited
by an agency recognized by the US Secretary of Education, US
Department of Education.
- Expertise in Android design principles and a profound
understanding of design nuances for the Android operating
system
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma,
Sketch, Zeplin, or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Demonstrated capability to lead design projects, effectively
communicate with cross-functional teams, and deliver designs that
achieve usability and aesthetic goals.
- Experience in user research and usability testing to guide
design decisions.
- Skilled in managing multiple projects simultaneously,
prioritizing tasks, and adhering to deadlines.A security clearance
or access with Polygraph is not required to be eligible for this
position. However, the applicant must be willing and eligible for
submission, depending on program requirements, after an offer is
accepted and must be able to maintain the applicable
clearance/access.Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, Product
Design or a related field.
- Familiarity with Jetpack Compose as a design and prototyping
tool.Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $86460 - $146982Please
note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However,
individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors
including, but not limited to: business considerations, local
market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate
qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience. Employee
