Vehicle Inspection and Preparation

At DriveTime, we're committed to providing our customers with high-quality, reconditioned vehicles. As a Vehicle Inspection Specialist, you'll play a critical role in this process by ensuring that every vehicle meets our rigorous standards for safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Inspect vehicles for cosmetic standards, including damage, wear, and tear.
Work with management to repair or reject inventory based on estimated cost of repairs and overall quality of the vehicle.
Manage incoming and outgoing inventory to ensure efficient workflow and minimize downtime.
Prepare and move vehicles throughout the distribution center for retail.
Record daily inventory of vehicles that arrive from auctions.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Valid driver's license and good driving record required.
Must be at least 18 years old.

Physical Demands:

This position requires visual acuity and manual dexterity to operate a vehicle and other productivity machinery, such as heavy equipment and power tools. You may need to move objects up to 60 pounds and work in an environment that could be cold, hot, noisy, and wet. You will also need to wear safety equipment, such as a face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, mask, and other protective garments and equipment.
