Job Description:
A company is looking for a Senior Policy and Planning Specialist
(Forest Service).
Key Responsibilities
Advocate for policies to protect and restore habitat for at-risk
species
Track federal land use policies and engage in land management
planning processes
Develop positions on legislative proposals and coordinate advocacy
efforts
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent; JDs encouraged to apply
8 years of relevant experience; 3 years of supervisory experience
preferred
Knowledge of ecology, public planning, and legal regulations
Experience in strategic thinking and partnering across
organizations
Ability to manage change and mobilize citizen activists
