Maintenance Technician Position at the Home2/TRU Grove City OhioThe Home2/TRU in Grove City, Ohio, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. • Paid Time Off (PTO)Job ObjectiveThe primary goal is to perform general maintenance tasks to ensure the hotel's maintenance quality standards are consistently met and maintained.Key Areas of Accountability
• Assist with preventive maintenance and complete work orders to maintain the hotel and uphold product quality standards.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance assignments.
• Check and make minor repairs to electrical systems.
• Assist in routine repairs and major repairs of all hotel equipment.
• Service the hotel's pool, including chemical adjustments and filter cleaning.
• Maintain the building exterior and "curb appeal."
• Refurbish and finish furniture and fixtures in guest rooms.
• Respond courteously to guest inquiries and requests.
• Prepare for exposure to extreme temperatures.
• Operate heavy machinery.
• Comply with attendance rules and maintain regular availability.
• Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.Other Duties and Responsibilities
  • Work weekend and holiday shifts as assigned.
  • Ensure proper use and care of all property equipment and supplies.
  • Carry out management requests not listed above.
  • Follow all hotel and state/federal safety policies and regulations.QualificationsTo successfully perform this role, the candidate should possess a self-starting personality, maintain a professional appearance, communicate effectively with guests, and be a team player. Must be willing to assist co-workers with their duties.Physical DemandsThe role requires climbing, reading, standing for entire shifts, walking, routinely lifting 25 lbs to 75 lbs, and occasionally lifting over 75 lbs.We look forward to discussing this opportunity further with interested candidates who meet these qualifications!
