Job Description:
Performs diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures (e.g.
preparation and administration of radiopharmaceuticals, camera
set-ups and acquisition parameters, computer analysis of scan
information, etc.). Assists the Nuclear Medicine Supervisor in
maintaining Personnel dosimetry records; quarterly CRE reports;
linearity reports; and any other duties assigned. Maintains records
of radiopharmaceutical receipt, distribution, and disposal
according to State of Ohio and Standards for accrediting body
regulations; orders radiopharmaceuticals and associated materials
from appropriate suppliers. Responds to emergencies outside
regularly scheduled work hours. Develops and demonstrates knowledge
of current developments in field to maintain competency in nuclear
medicine procedures and related areas.RequirementsState of Ohio
license in Nuclear Medicine; American Registry of Radiologic
Technologists (N) registered and/or Nuclear Medicine Technology
Certification Board registered; graduate of an approved school of
nuclear medicine technology; Basic Life Saving certified. State of
Ohio license in NMT; American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
(AART) (N) or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board
(NMTCB); Obtain American Heart Association BLS certification within
30 days of hire and maintains continuous certification.Why Join
