- This LPN candidate will be working in the Emergency Department at Mount Carmel Dublin three 12-hour shifts per week from 11am - 11:30pm with rotating weekends and holidays.

Mount Carmel Dublin will be an innovative medical ambulatory campus directly tailored to the needs of the Dublin community and surrounding suburbs . Services provided:- 24-bay emergency department
- 60 acute inpatient beds
- 4 operating rooms
- Level 1 cardiac capability
- Advanced imaging, and other outpatient testing
- Attached MOB
The attached medical office building will provide a community education space in addition to clinic space for:- Primary Care
- Neurology
- Cardiology
- Vascular
- Other independent specialists
Mount Carmel plans to extend its community health and well-being programs into the Dublin community as well.
This LPN position will be hired to staff Mount Carmel Dublin. Will be working three 12-hour shifts per week from 11am - 11:30pm with rotating weekends and holidays. While construction is underway, the majority of training will take place at Mount Carmel St. Ann's located at 500 S Cleveland Ave, Westerville, OH 43081. We are expecting Mount Carmel Dublin to open Spring of 2025.

About the job:
In accordance with the Mission and Guiding Behaviors; the Licensed Practical Nurse - with Meds , within the scope of the Ohio Nurse Practice Act, will provide care in an atmosphere sensitive to each person's physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs. Functioning in the spirit of teamwork, under the direction of a Registered Nurse, is accountable for the delivery of patient care utilizing the Nursing Process within the standards, policies, procedures, and guidelines of the Organization.

continuity of care forms as appropriate .
- COLLABORATION: Collaborates with Providers, house staff,
Registered Nurses, and other health care disciplines regarding
patient care.
- SAFE PRACTICE: Performs treatments and procedures according to
approved standards, policies, procedures, and guidelines. Verifies
and implements physician/other licensed independent practitioner's
orders. Administers medications, according to the organization's
standards, policies, procedures and/or guidelines. Initiates
appropriate emergency procedures within the scope of practice under
the direction of the RN/physician. Practices proper patient
identification procedures. Maintains equipment appropriate to the
care environment. Establishes priorities for the delivery of
nursing care and meets patient needs.
- DOCUMENTATION: Documents accurately and completely pertinent
information/data in accordance with documentation standards,
policies, procedures and/or guidelines.
- COMPUTER SKILLS: Utilizes computer systems effectively,
including. ATK. Systems appropriate to area. Registrar. Appropriate
use of Internet/Intranet.
- INITIATIVE: Takes responsibility to facilitate improvements in
patient services, staff/physician relationships and the working
climate. Is responsible/accountable for professional development
and maintaining licensure requirements. Takes responsibility for
own education.
- Administration of medications: Please see the Scope of practice
for LPN set forth by the Ohio Board of Nursing
What we are looking for:- Education: Graduate of School of Practical Nursing
- Licensure / Certification: Current license to practice as a
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the State of Ohio.
- Successful completion of an LPN IV therapy course with proof of
certification through one of the following: LPN curriculum ( i.e.
part of Ohio's required curriculum, National certification ( i.e.
NAPNES) or through IV training course that includes pharmacology at
a hospital.
- Experience: Preferred
- Effective Communication Skills
- Current BLS Healthcare Provider card required
