The ideal candidate will be a skilled diagnostician with a passion for patient care and a collaborative spirit. Key Responsibilities: Interpret medical images (X-rays, CTs, MRIs, ultrasounds, mammograms, etc.) Provide accurate and timely reports to physicians Interact with patients to explain procedures and ensure proper positioning Perform image-guided procedures (e.g., biopsies, drain insertions) Ensure high imaging quality and safety standards Stay current with advancements in radiology through education and research Qualifications: MD or DO degree, with completion of an accredited radiology residency Board-certified in Radiology by the ABR and AOBR Fellowship training in a sub-specialty is a plus Valid Ohio medical license Proficiency in diagnostic imaging and software Knowledge of radiation safety protocols Skills: Strong diagnostic and analytical abilities Attention to detail and effective decision-making in high-pressure situations Compassionate approach to patient care and quality healthcare services Excellent communication skills Working Conditions: Full-time with a balance of shifts and on-call availability Primarily work in hospitals, outpatient clinics, or imaging centers Some telemedicine opportunities Based in Columbus, with travel to affiliated facilities We offer a flexible work schedule to support a healthy work-life balance.
