Job Description:
A company is looking for a Mental Health Specialist II in the
988 Lifeline Services.
Key Responsibilities
Interacts with clients in a therapeutic manner and models effective
communication and coping skills
Assists clients in identifying personal recovery goals and
determines appropriate interventions
Advocates for resources based on assessed client needs and may
facilitate structured skill trainings
Required Qualifications
Four years of full-time paid experience in a relevant mental health
or human service field, or a Bachelor's Degree in a related
field
Ability to recognize and respond to the unique needs of clients
Competency in assessment and support skills for a wide range of
issues
Experience in crisis intervention and handling time-sensitive
requests
Physical ability to perform tasks such as standing, walking, and
lifting up to 20 lbs
