Job Title: Behavioral Healthcare Provider 1 Job Specialty: Staff Augmentation Job Duration: Long-term assignment Shift: Day 8:00 AM-4:00 PM, Monday-Friday (No weekends or holidays) Guaranteed Hours: Experience: Minimum years of experience not specified License: LPC or LSW License Certifications: Must-Have: Experience in sex offender services Job Description: - Work under clinical supervision with considerable knowledge of behavioral healthcare programs and techniques as part of a sex offender team. - Responsible for sex offender interventions for a caseload of assigned offenders. - Complete screenings and assessments. - Conduct group and sex offender interventions using evidence-based correctional program intervention strategies within scope of practice and as directed by supervision. - Write reports and maintain necessary data documents to satisfy requirements of federal, state, and local agencies. - Enter documentation in electronic health records for all inmate encounters and contacts. - Complete miscellaneous forms and reports as needed, per policy and protocol. - Complete transfer and discharge summaries. - Consult with other institution staff regarding the sex offender caseload, inmate's institutional adjustment, and service needs. - Attend meetings related to sex offender program supervision. - Participate in in-service training and workshops for professional development. This role requires a focus on providing behavioral health services aligned with professional standards and confidentiality, emphasizing teamwork and emotional intelligence.
