  • Job Details
  • The UH OR has a hybrid OR suite that is utilized by Neurosurgeons who are endovascular specialized. The cases include diagnostic cerebral angiograms, treatment of strokes, ruptured aneurysms, AVMs, and carotid stenting.
  • The shift is negotiable as either 5x8s (6:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.) Monday-Friday, with on-call requirements for after hours and weekends. There will be a minimum of 125 hours of call per month required.
  • Documentation System Experience: Epic
  • Must have EVAR experience!
  • Patient Age Group: Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics
  • Work Setting Experience: Outpatient, Inpatient, Operating Room, Level I Trauma, Teaching Hospital
  • General Skills Experience: PACS, C-ARM, Biopsies
  • X-ray Procedure Experience: Surgery/C-Arm
  • R/Angio/Special Procedures Experience: Stents, Angioplasty, Angiograms, Peripherals, Upper and Lower Extremity, Abd and Pelvic, Vascular Studies, Stroke Treatment
    • Job Requirements
    • BLS certification required
    • ARRT certification required
    • NIH Stroke Certification required for ER and all Critical Care RNs (ICU, MICU, SICU, Neuro ICU, CVICU, and Critical Care Float)
    • State License Verification required within 30 days of start
    • NURSYS Verification (RN, LPN/LVN, AP) required
    • Tech Cert Verification - National required within 30 days of start
