ShiftDescription:Position Purpose:The surgery department at Mount
Carmel Dublin will have four operating rooms, a GI procedural room,
a non-invasive cardiac lab, and a cardiac and interventional
radiology suite. Multiple service lines will be supported at this
campus including robotics, general, GYN, urology and orthopedics
while focusing on exceptional patient experience and evidence-based
practice. As operations ramp up, there will be a limited call
requirement initially. This campus will provide great surgeons,
anesthesiologists, and nurse leaders that display excellent
teamwork and collaboration.This position will be hired to staff
Mount Carmel Dublin. While construction is underway, the majority
of training will take place at Mount Carmel St. Ann's located at
500 S Cleveland Ave, Westerville, OH 43081. We are expecting Mount
Carmel Dublin to open Spring of 2025.The Registered Nurse RN,
within the scope of the Ohio Nurse Practice Act, will provide care
in an atmosphere sensitive to each person's physical, emotional,
social and spiritual needs. The Registered Nurse RN, collaborates
in the spirit of teamwork is accountable for the delivery of
patient care utilizing the Nursing Process within the standards,
policies, procedures and guidelines of the Organization.What you
will do:Provides nursing care, ensures an environment of patient
safety, promotes evidence-based practice and quality initiatives
and exhibits professionalism in nursing practice within the model
of the ANCC Magnet Recognition Program -.Assesses and evaluates
patient care for an assigned group of patients, utilizing evidence
based practice. Collaborates with patient and family to develop and
implement a plan of care that includes physical, spiritual and
educational components.Accurately communicates pertinent
information to appropriate team members in a timely manner. Keeps
patient/family apprised/updated.Documents accurately and completely
pertinent assessments, interventions and outcomes for patients in
accordance with documentation standards, policies, procedures
and/or guidelines.Assumes responsibility and accountability for
care provided and documented by other licensed and unlicensed care
givers as appropriate.Minimum Qualifications:Education: Graduate
from school of nursing.Licensure / Certification: Current license
to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.For Casual
RNs 2 years of experience is required.All new graduate nurses with
less than one (1) year of clinical experience are subject to
participate and will be automatically enrolled in the Nurse
