Because we are looking for an Assistant Housekeeping Manager!
What does the ROLE entail?
- Responsible for assisting in the oversight of the entire
housekeeping department, including public areas, night cleaning,
and guest room cleanliness
- Solid understanding of housekeeping and laundry services
- Supporting housekeeping team members with training,
development, and coaching
- Promoting an atmosphere that ensures strong guest satisfaction
and team member engagement
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to effectively work
with guests, other departments, and team members
- Maintaining excellent communication and coordination with all
hotel departments
- This position reports directly to the Housekeeping Operations
Manager
Your EXPERIENCE and qualifications:
- A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced
environment
- Prior hotel or housekeeping experience is required
- Previous supervisor or management experience, preferably in a
hotel setting or equivalent
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Unafraid of guest service related tasks, projects and
responsibilities
- Must possess excellent organizational, interpersonal and
administrative skills
- A fun and energized person with a creative mindset
- Committed to delivering a high level of customer service
- Must be proficient in general computer knowledge
- Essential to have excellent organizational and time management
skills
- Must be available to work first and second shift, including
weekends and holidays
