Job Summary: Talent Software Services is in search of a Data Modeler for a contract position in Columbus, OH. The opportunity will be three mnths with a strong chance for a long-term extension.

Position Summary: Join our Cyber Data Management team in Indianapolis, a vibrant city known for its rich cultural heritage and thriving tech community. Here, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing data models that aid the understanding, use, and protection of critical data streams across the corporate environment. You will work closely with cybersecurity experts and data scientists to ensure our global data architecture supports and enhances our cybersecurity measures. This position requires a blend of analytical skills, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of data structures.

Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

Design, implement, and manage comprehensive data models to support data management objectives.
Collaborate with technology teams to develop secure and reliable data transmission and storage solutions.
Analyze and translate business needs into long-term data model solutions.
Evaluate and improve existing data structures to enhance data value and identify targets for risk reduction.
Work with cybersecurity analysts to integrate security measures into data models.


Preferred:

Bachelor's or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Data Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
Proven experience in data modeling, data architecture, or a similar role.
Strong understanding of database structure principles and data modeling standards.
Experience with data modeling tools such as Excel, Visio, MySQL, Python, Oracle, Big Query, Talend, Power BI, Axonius.
