Job Description:

Genesis10 is seeking a Lead ETL Tester for a contract to hire position with a leading client in Columbus, OH. Our target pay rate is between $50.00 - $65.00 per hour on our W2. NBo C2C. This position is hybrid.

A variety of soft skills and experience may be required for the following role Please ensure you check the overview below carefully.

Responsibilities: Actively participate in the review of project requirements, data mappings and technical design specifications.
Create test strategies and test plans for Data Warehouse projects, mapping back to the project requirements to ensure proper test coverage.
Execute test cases using manual and/or automated test processes.
Execute database queries to support test execution in Azure DevOps.
Perform ETL validation according to data mapping, execute data profiling, reconciliation of data, meta data validation, initial and delta validation for different SCD types.
Analyze data, troubleshoot data issues, and create action plans to address data quality issues.
Coordinate test execution with other application teams and UAT partners.
Create and communicate test status with project team members and stakeholders.
Identify, document, and communicate testing defects.
Collaborate with project team on defect analysis and triage.
Support continuous improvement by identifying and solving opportunities to define or enhance QA process.
Perform Functional, Regression, Negative and migration testing for the Data warehouse projects.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree or military experience in related field (preferably computer science).
Minimum 2 years of experience with Snowflake and AWS Cloud
Minimum 5 years of ETL testing experience in data warehouse environment.
Minimum 5 years of experience analyzing data, troubleshooting data issues, and creating action plans to address data quality issues.
Minimum 5 years of experience writing SQL queries.
Understanding of enterprise data warehousing best practices and standards.
Experience leading QA Analysts on a project team.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
Highly motivated with strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks.

Preferred Qualifications Experience in financial services (banking) industry.
Experience testing on Snowflake and AWS S3/EC2/EMR.
